Hua hin for digital nomads
If you want crazy parties and cool nightclubs; forget it. Hua Hin has all the city amenities you need; 2 shopping malls with even a H&M, Starbucks, Burger King etc. The city has basically one long road which is perfect to rent a scooter. For 3000 baht you rent a scooter, amazing! and for a few cent you have petrol. The restaurants have amazing local food, and the beach is great to have a morning / evening walk after all those hours behind your computer. There are a lot of opportunities for entrepreneurial people to establish, connect and work with global minded people. The local people, are super helpful and friendly. You will feel safe, healthy and happy in this cozy town. Our accommodation in Hua Hin is perfect for digital nomads who like to stay a few months in this easy town. We would say, a perfect town to focus a few months on a dedicated project to get things done and still enjoy life.
Getting around in Hua Hin
The location is absolutely perfect, with a private taxi or minivan you within 2,5 hours in Bangkok to enjoy all the hustle and bustle. Hua Hin also has an airport with direct connections to Ciang Mai – perfect for digital nomads! Are you done with city life and want to explore some amazing islands? Take the bus south and jump on a ferry to go to Koh Tao for diving, Koh phangan for the party lifestyle or the Yoga scene. From there you could jump on a 30 min ferry to Koh Samui to enjoy a more easy beach life.
Internet in Thailand for Digital Nomads
The internet connections are amazingly fast! We advice NOT to buy a sim card when you arrive at the airport. They charge you 1500 baht, while when you wait when you arrive in your accommodation, walk to the 7-eleven and you pay only 250 baht. Easy! You have a 30 day unlimited internet sim card with super fast 4G & 5G internet. Expect to have +/- 20 Mbps download speed, it works fine to have Zoom meetings with this speed. In the rooms we offer in Hua Hin you could expect to have internet speed of +/- 40 Mbps.
Hua hin for young families
You work remotely as parents ? This cozy town is perfect for young children and working parents. Scroll through our Hua Hin accommodation and you find 1, 2 bedrooms and affordable penthouses – all safe for children. There are several playgrounds in Hua Hin and it’s super safe. Planning to stay longer, The Hua Hin international school is more affordable compared to Bangkok.
